England and Wales
Boiler Upgrade Scheme |
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) supports the decarbonisation of homes and small and medium non-domestic buildings in England and Wales. The scheme provides upfront capital grants of up to £7,500 to encourage property owners to replace existing fossil fuel heating with more efficient, low carbon heating systems including heat pumps and biomass boilers. |

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) is a government energy-efficiency scheme in Great Britain, designed to tackle fuel poverty and help reduce carbon emissions. ECO is an obligation placed on energy companies to deliver energy efficiency measures to domestic premises. |

Home Upgrade Grant 2 (HUG 2) |
The Home Upgrade Grant Phase 2 (HUG2) scheme provides free energy-saving home improvements to people who struggle to paid their heating bills and keep their homes warm in winter. Funded by the government, the scheme is available to homeowners with off gas properties in participating local authority areas who meet certain eligibility criteria. |

It takes into account the fabric or materials homes are made from and the way we heat and store energy. It also takes into account how energy reaches our homes. |

The Welsh Government Warm Homes Nest scheme offers a range of free, impartial energy efficiency advice and, if you’re eligible, a package of free home energy efficiency improvements. This can lower your energy bills and carbon footprint, and benefit your health and wellbeing. |
